VolkerLaser Staff & Operatives
VolkerLaser currently directly employs approximately 75 operatives who work in the field and 20 staff based at our head office in Worcestershire. Due to the nature of works all operatives and site staff are travelling men and shall be mobile to, or resident in, the site location for the duration of works.
Regarding Bridge Deck Waterproofing, we have the facility to operate 6 waterproofing gangs that are fully serviced with airless spray pumps and blast pumps all fitted into tailor made wagons.
VolkerLaser operatives are multi-skilled and can carry out all aspects of the contract works including blast cleaning, concrete repairs, waterproofing, deck preparation works and painting. A continuity of works will be provided by the contract for an already skilled workforce thus affording a reduced learning curve. We can mobilise usually with 24-48 hours in emergencies and a maximum of 5 days.
