Section A forms part of the Bus Rapid Transfer System Scheme being created within the central area of Worcester itself. The project involves road widening works to create a designated bus lane in certain parts of Bromyard Road from the A44 Roundabout down to the Broadway Grove area.

The works included widening the existing carriageway for a designated bus lane, three junction improvements, signalling, visibility improvements, improved drainage system and the construction of a new footpath/cycleway.
