West of Worcester Section D

Worcester

The Scheme was to create a Traffic Signal controlled junction between Bromyard Road and Comer Road in the St Johns area of the West of Worcester.

New kerbing and footway works were carried out to accommodate the new signals along with the re-positioning of two existing bus stops and the installation of one new bus stop with new canopies to all three.

Road crossings for new ductworks were carried out to enable our X12 Partners to install the relevant signals.

The existing road surface was replaced in both areas and coloured anti-skid surfaces applied along with new road markings, and signage to complete the works. This project was completed in 3 weeks under a partial road closure which was run concurrently with the gas board's maintenance work.
