The Energy Efficiency Standard for Social Housing (EESSH) has been developed to help improve the energy efficiency of the social housing stock in Scotland.
The Standard is based on minimum Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) Energy Efficiency (EE) ratings. These are shown on the EESSH ratings table and vary depending on the type of property and the fuel used to heat it. A suite of retrofit examples has been developed to support the new standard, these are accessible in the landlord area. They show reasonable measures which landlords can install in dwellings to help meet the required ratings. Please note that these are examples, as landlords will know their stock best.
