Employees successfully complete their 2023 charity fundraising challenge

Recent

Following the completion of our Around the World in 80 Days challenge, we have recently donated the funds raised to our two chosen charities.

We donated £2,627.14 to Derian House Children’s Hospice. Derian House Children’s Hospice helps children and young people whose lives are too short, helping them to make happy memories in an environment of fun, respect and above all, outstanding care.

Ellie Smith, community fundraiser said: “Your donation goes towards providing care and respite to more than 400 babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions across the North West of England and I am sure I can speak on behalf of our families when I pass on their sincere thanks.”

In addition, we also donated £2,627.14 to Papryus. Papyrus, prevention of young suicide, is a UK charity dedicated to the prevention of suicide, the promotion of positive mental health and emotional wellbeing in young people.

Amanda Barbera, corporate fundraising officer said: “Thank you to all the employees involved for supporting Papyrus. The kind donation will help pay for many calls, texts and emails to HOPELINE247 from young people struggling to stay safe from thoughts of suicide, or someone concerned about a young person.”

Thank you to everyone involved in helping us make a real difference to these two charities.
