VolkerLaser raise over £1400 during month of charity fundraising
Supporting Acorns Children's Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support, VolkerLaser have raised over £1400 for charity in the month of September.
Charity Chinese Evening
This year, VolkerLaser's annual charity event was a Chinese Evening in support of Acorn's Children Hospice, which provides care for babies, children and young people from 0-18 with life limiting or life threatening conditions, as well as supporting their families.
Staff congregated at VolkerLaser's Worcester office under a marquee, where they enjoyed a Chinese takeaway style meal, a quiz, and a raffle. VolkerLaser were delighted to be able to raise over £1,300 for the charity over the course of the evening for the local cause.
Macmillan Coffee Morning
Later in the month, VolkerLaser joined offices across the country in supporting the Macmillan Coffee Morning in aid of Cancer Support. Generous staff baked and bought in various cakes and treats for their colleagues to enjoy while catching up over a cuppa, raising over £60; a fantastic total.
