The repair and strengthening works, provided by VolkerLaser, involved the use of concrete repair, sprayed concrete, cathodic protection and Carbon Fibre Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) strengthening to provide a unique and innovative solution for the client, Associated British Ports (ABP).

The Concrete Society Awards celebrate excellence in concrete across the UK. Keith Barrow, Regional Director said: “We are absolutely delighted to have won this award.
