A star of steel and screen: Newport Transporter Bridge to be featured on new TV show
We’re proud to share one of our projects, Newport Transporter Bridge, will be featured on a new TV show – Kevin McCloud’s Listed Britain.
In this new 5-part series, Kevin McCloud travels the country to uncover the stories behind the buildings and structures Britain has chosen to protect at the very highest level.
During the filming, our section engineer, Courtney Stribley took the crew onto the bridge to showcase the extensive refurbishment works we are undertaking, detailing the challenges working on this iconic structure has posed so far.
The first episode is on More 4 tonight – Wednesday 13 May at 9pm. The spotlight will fall on Newport Transporter Bridge during episode three, which will air on Wednesday 27 May.
