VolkerLaser awarded UK energy efficiency frameworks
VolkerLaser has been named as a preferred contractor on three major framework contracts offering energy efficient insulation solutions across the UK.
Delivering energy efficiency measures nationwide
The Procurement for Housing, Warmworks and Fusion 21 frameworks have up to £50m worth of insulation work available which VolkerLaser will bid for alongside other preferred contractors. The inclusion of the company on these frameworks follows the award of the four year Fortis Living framework in 2014.
During the four year Procurement for Housing ‘Renewables & Energy Efficiency framework’, VolkerLaser will have the opportunity to deliver external wall, cavity wall, loft, internal and roof insulation to properties nationwide.
The Warmworks scheme will run for a minimum of five years as part of the Scottish Government’s Home Energy Efficiency Programme. The framework will involve the installation of external, cavity wall, loft and floor insulation in properties across Scotland.
Fusion 21 is a social enterprise that promotes public procurement as a means to achieve value for money. During the four year contract, cavity wall and loft insulation will be installed in homes around the West and East Midlands.
