An egg-ceptional Easter at VolkerLaser

Last week, representatives across VolkerLaser participated in our annual Easter egg donations, supporting charities across the UK.

Ahead of the Easter break, three VolkerLaser colleagues visited the Myriad Centre’s new home in Cherry Orchard to deliver our annual donation of Easter treats. During the visit, the team also had the opportunity to learn more about the charity’s work and the exceptional care it provides to their clients.

The Myriad Centre is a day centre supporting adults over 18 with profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD), along with their families and carers. Each day, the centre creates meaningful opportunities for their clients to experience joy, make choices and connect with others through carefully selected activities. Their work plays a vital role in supporting individuals as they transition from school into adulthood and beyond.

Aswell as Easter eggs, we also donated toys, books and art materials as part of Myriad’s spring clean and donate appeal. These donations will help replenish activity cupboards and support the centre’s wide range of creative and sensory sessions.

“It was wonderful to have the team from VolkerLaser visit us again. They truly get stuck in, engaging with our clients, talking to them on their level, and brining the delivery of Easter eggs really made our day!”
