Making a pawsitive impact: VolkerLaser team supports RSPCA Worcester
On Wednesday 29 of April, five VolkerLaser colleagues spent the day volunteering at RSPCA Worcester.
Supporting local communities is important to us as a business, with every VolkerLaser employee getting one day per year to volunteer for an organisation of their choice.
The RSPCA Worcester, based in Kempsey, opened in 2016 as an animal rehoming centre. The charity rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome, cats, dogs, rabbits and other small animals within Worcester and the surrounding areas.
The day began with an overview of the centre, followed by a safety briefing and a tour of the site. The team then got stuck into a wide range of tasks, including painting fences, litter picking, cleaning the cattery corridors, and weeding and levelling gravel. One of our colleagues even brought along his own lawn mower to cut the grass and kindly stayed behind to make sure the job was fully completed.
The team had a brilliant time and worked extremely hard during their visit to complete all the tasks at hand.
Thank you to the incredible team that visited us last week, they were brilliant and a real credit to VolkerLaser. We are truly grateful for the help and support we received, I hope the team enjoyed their day of volunteering!
